Windows 2016 Vpn Server Slow Download Fast Upload

Greetings. My download speeds without a VPN are 200+ Mbps. When I connect to my server with OpenVPN installed (information technology tin can download at 500+ Mbps) I get a max of 15 Mbps, and oftentimes less.

I'm running OpenVPN 2.3.10 x86_64-w64-mingw32 and accept tried a variety of versions of TAP drivers, simply they all get around the aforementioned speed. VirtualBox is installed (just I'1000 connecting to the VPN from the physical, non-virtualized desktop) and for a while if I unchecked the "VirtualBox Bridged Networking Driver" checkbox on the TAP Interface connection'southward properties (right-click, Networking tab) while the VPN was continued, I could get better speeds.

This may have been a red herring, because subsequently disconnecting and reconnecting to the VPN, speeds would get right back to ~xv Mbps.

And in my attempts to resolve this issue, I upgraded VirtualBox to 5.0.14, and at present the TAP interface has a unlike checkbox, named "VirtualBox NDIS6 Bridged Networking Driver" but checking or unchecking it has no effect. I've disabled all of the checkboxes exept for IPv4 just to rule anything else out.

I've tried using TCP (information technology got slower), inverse ciphers and enabled/disabled lzo compression, but haven't found a fashion to significantly improve performance.

Here is the client conf:
